Gael García Bernal Presented the Play ‘Together’ in Guadalajara

A few weeks ago, about five hundred people attended the Diana Theater in Guadalajara to appreciate the actor Gael García Bernal in his interpretation of a Spanish hippie in the work Together. This was the first of three functions to be presented by the Swedish company in Jalisco, Mexico. The play, spoken in English, had some drawbacks with regard to the translation of the lines, because while the screens located on the sides of the stage showed small texts, in the parquet were developed extensive discussions. The staging tackles the story of a housewife who decides to leave her husband after a beating and take their children to live with her brother. But upon arrival she realizes that he lives in a commune, in a house with naked people and long hair that planting vegetables and drink much wine, which leads to a story full of humor. Undoubtedly, Gael was the one who raised more laughs with his character addicted to marijuana. The applause accompanied him on several occasions, recognizing his work on stage, and showing that it is one of the consent of Guadalajara.
